I'm stuck here
in the battle
between my heart and mind
traversing amidst
all the confusion
that doesn't seem to end.
Waking up is hard
and so is falling asleep.
My dreams are broken
like a shattered glass
and now they hurt my eyes.
I wish for someone
who'd save me
and fix me
and mend me.
But then I realise
it was no one else
but me
who survived
and picked myself up
at every fall.
I've been my best friend
and my own hero
and my own pillar
of support and love.
So I need no one
But me
Only me.
